While allowing you imagination to flow
For your imagination energizes your creativity
Which encourages your inner child to grow

Have you ever wished upon a falling star?
While the night sky curtains off the day
Have you ever smiled at the wonders of life?
As a child kneels down to pray

Have you ever touched a snowflake still afloat?
And wondered at the magic of it all
Or watched a butterfly sit so still
While we, life’s passengers daily rush by

Have you ever wondered at the beauty of a web?
Catching the morning sun flickering through
Do you ever wonder why the swallows return?
Or why a crowing cock mystifies the noon

Did you ever wonder why Mother Nature cares?
Winter Summer Autumn or Spring
Whether you stop or simply refuse to stare
She’ll continue to cherish and look after her kin
