A Prayer for an Expectant Mum

God grant me stamina, courage and strength
While abiding and seeing my labour through
And bless the joy these pains will bring
When this little human life blossoms through
Guide me through my mothering instinct
When I listen to the cries of joy and woe
And lead us through the pathway of life
That will allow our love to flourish and grow
